TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Firefighters battled two early morning fires at vacant homes Sunday, officials said.
According to the Temple Fire Department, firefighters were called to the home at 512 East Avenue F just before 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, firefighters also noticed smoke coming from another home at 517 East Avenue E, a press release stated.
Both homes were vacant at the time of the fires.
The home on East Avenue F received "extensive damage and are a total loss." The home on East Avenue E received fire, smoke and heat damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Fire Marshal's Office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
