Fort Hood: Death of soldier on Christmas Eve under investigation

Officials are investigating the death of a 21-year-old Fort Hood soldier who was found unresponsive on Christmas Eve in an on-post residence.
Pvt. Paige Elizabeth Briles, of Kaplan, La., had been assigned to the Warrior Transition Unit, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, since November.
She joined the Army in February 2015.
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating.
