Lines formed early Monday as Little Caesars made good on its promise to give away free lunch combos if a No.16 seed beat a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Customers began lining up at 9:45 a.m. Monday at the Little Caesars at 1412 North Valley Mills Dr.
Each store had enough supplies to make 500 combos.
By noon the North Valley Mills store had prepared more than 400 pizzas.
The store was also giving away free large pizzas.
Little Caesars tweeted on March 16 it would give away free lunch combos if a No. 16 seed beat a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
The University of Maryland-Baltimore County ousted No. 1 seed Virginia, 74-54.
Customers can go to any participating Little Caesars between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to score a DEEP! DEEP! Dish pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi product.
