More than 200 families were provided with computers and internet Saturday morning, as a part of an event put on by non-profit Bridging the Gap.
Bridging the Gap is led by PCs for People and Mobile Beacon, organizations that help communities anchor institutions like housing authorities, schools, libraries, and nonprofits provide affordable computers and internet to individuals and families below the 200% poverty level.
Families with children in the Temple and Belton ISD attended the event, providing students with an opportunity to have online resources at their home.
