Freeze warning expires, but we’re not done with the cold yet

(KWTX) A freeze warning in effect overnight expired Tuesday morning, but the November cold snap won’t release its grip on Central Texas for several more days.

There were isolated reports of snow flurries Tuesday morning in Central Texas, but by afternoon, the clouds should give way to some sun.

Highs will only be around 40, however, and brisk north winds will make it feel much colder.

Lows overnight will be in the mid-20s and highs Wednesday will only be in the upper 40s.

Wednesday night temperatures will again drop into the 20s, but Thursday highs should be in the upper 60s and temperatures Thursday night should be well above freezing.

Highs on Friday should be in the mid-60s.
