“We try to conserve them and do what we can to protect them,” says snake remover Clint Willbanks.

Willbanks along with several other men has been helping property owners around Central Texas remove venomous snakes from their property, but it’s not a job, it’s a hobby.

“We do it for the fun and adrenaline rush,” he said.

“We take a sense of pride and pleasure to help them,” Willbanks said.

For years he’s received calls from law enforcement agencies and landowners who want venomous snakes removed.

“We are not trying to kill them,” he said.

“It is important to the environment and they do play a key role in the environment.”

Willbanks says years of experience allow the group to remove snakes safely and properly.
