Waco: Gunfire strikes house, vehicle in local neighborhood

WACO, Texas (KWTX) A house and a vehicle were struck repeatedly when someone opened fire Monday morning in a North Waco neighborhood.

The gunfire was reported at around 11:20 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of North 6th Street.

Officers found a house on North 6th that had been struck multiple times as well as a vehicle parked outside a nearby convenience store at 625 Colcord Ave. that had been struck several times.

No injuries were reported.

"It's unknown at this time if this shooting is related to other recent shootings, Officer Garen Bynum said in a Facebook post.

"Officers on scene were also working to develop a suspect description in the shooting," he said.
