Harker Heights: Three arrested in connection with package theft

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) Three people were arrested Friday in connection with a package theft in Harker Heights after police received reports that they were following delivery trucks.

Officers responded just after 11:30 a.m. to a residential neighborhood where they found a vehicle matching the description provided by the callers.

They pulled the vehicle over at Nevaeh Drive and Red Fern Drive.

Inside the vehicle they found a package and two handguns, one of which had been reported stolen.

Officers arrested the three occupants, who were also named in unrelated warrants and contacted the resident for whom the package was intended.

The names of the three suspects weren’t immediately released.
