Harker Heights: New combo-restaurant celebrates with free coffee for a year for first 100 guests

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) The first 100 people who show up to the grand opening of Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins in Harker Heights Saturday morning get free coffee for a year.

The new "next generation restaurant" at 529 E. Knight's Way will open at 5 a.m.

Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins will host a grand opening celebration Saturday, August 10, to unveil its newest Next Generation store in Harker Heights, TX, located at 529 E Knight's Way. Beginning at 5 AM, the restaurant will offer the first 100 guests Free Coffee for a Year*. The celebration will also include an appearance by Dunkin’s mascot Cuppy at 9 AM.

Attendees will get a glimpse at the store’s new modern design and in-store innovations, including a cold beverage tap system. The new Dunkin’ is also a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.

The new location will be open daily from 5 AM – 11 PM and will employ approximately 50 crew members. Mark Nelson of OSO Coffee Company LLC is Dunkin’s franchisee for the restaurant.

*Free Coffee for a Year excludes Cold Brew and Espresso and comes in the form of 52 cards valid for one free coffee. Valid only at 529 E Knight’s Way location. Almond milk may be an additional charge. Guests must make a purchase in the restaurant to be eligible. Guests may only receive one Free Coffee for a Year prize during the event.
