Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who deliberately rammed a motorcyclist with whom he got into an argument early Thursday morning in the drive-thru of the Whataburger on North Valley Mills Drive in Waco.
The hit and run was reported just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday at West Waco Drive and North 38th Street, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
The driver of what an officer at the scene said was a Ford Explorer had followed the motorcyclist after the argument, rammed the bike and then fled.
The motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries when his bike was struck by a Ford Explorer whose driver did not stop.
Police Sgt. Dan Peterson says the motorcyclist’s protective gear prevented more serious injury.
