Hit-and-run driver faces multiple charges

A driver is headed to jail after a hit-and-run at Waco Drive and 25th street around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning in Waco.
A the driver of a Dodge Charger heading north on Waco Drive ran a flashing light and the Charger hit a Hyundai sedan.
After the collision, the driver of the Charger got out of the car and tried to run, but Waco police officers eventually caught him.
He was facing a list of charges including driving while intoxicated and driving with an invalid license.
The female driver of the Hyundai was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
