Killeen police are investigating after someone opened fire on a home and an SUV early Tuesday afternoon in a residential neighborhood.
Officers responded just before 1 p.m. Tuesday to a report of the drive-by shooting in the 4300 block of Deek Drive in Killeen.
Witnesses said the shots were fired from a silver car without license plates in which two men were riding.
Several rounds struck the parked SUV.
No one was hurt.
Officers found shotgun pellets and one shotgun shell at the scene.
The resident told police he didn’t know why the home was targeted.
