Carl and Carri Gossett who live on Charter Oak Drive in Temple, say that a man came up to their home and stole their 2018 white Suzuki motorcycle early Saturday morning.

"When my wife told me someone was on the porch she grabbed my phone to look at the cameras and I was out the door with a pistol," says Carl Gossett who says he has filed a police report with Temple PD.

"It's pretty messed up," says Carl's wife Carri.

"If you want something you should work really hard for it , just go buy it don't steal our stuff," she says.

The estimated $5,000 bike wasn't the first thing to be stolen in the neighborhood however.

The couple says many houses in the area have been stolen from in the last few weeks.

"We have lived here for 12 years and have 3 kids in the house," says Gossett, "we have never had any kind of issue with criminal activity at all until the last couple of weeks," she said.

The family is asking for anyone with information to please contact Temple police.
