‘Franklin Strong’ has quickly become the motto in the small town of Franklin after an EF-3 tornado devastated it over the weekend.
The Franklin High School Student Council will be making shirts with the words ‘Franklin Strong on the front and ‘We are one” on the back.
They will go on sale Tuesday evening for $10, depending on when they shipment arrives.
The group will not be taking orders in advance.
And completion will take a side Monday, when Rockdale High School will host the Franklin HS softball and baseball teams.
The community will have a “pass the hat” event with money raised going to people in need of help after the storm.
Local officials are also recommending people donate the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army.
