KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) An infant who died on July 16 at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights after he was found not breathing at his babysitter’s home in the 5000 block of Dan Drive in Killeen was the victim of illness, according to an autopsy report, police said Tuesday.

Eight-month-old Jayse Robinson “passed away as a result of an illness as stated by the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science to be natural causes,” police said in a press release Tuesday afternoon.

“There are no pending criminal charges relating to the death,” police said.

Killeen police told the infant’s mother, Ciara Robinson, in August that they would not be pursuing charges against the babysitter.
