K-9 Officers take out drug suspect

MEXIA, Texas (Limestone Co. Sheriff's Office & KWTX) Investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff's Office used a K-9 officer to help bust a drug suspect during a follow up investigation in Mexia Monday.

During that investigation, deputies say they observed narcotics in plain view.

K-9 unit Deputy Means and 'Jack' were called in to assist and search the home.

The occupant was arrested for possession of approximately 14.5 grams of methamphetamines, approximately 1 gram of heroin and possession of marijuana.
