Killeen: Icy conditions force closure of W.S. Young bridge

Early morning icy conditions across the city of Killeen forced officials to close a busy bridge.

The W.S. Young bridge near the dog park was closed just before 8 a.m. Saturday, according to a Facebook post.

The bridge reopened around 1 p.m.

In the post, police stated the bridge was closed due to icy conditions on the road until the conditions improved.

"If you should have to get out on the roadways, please drive with caution," Killeen police said.
