School bus accident sends one child to local hospital

Killeen ISD officials confirm that a school bus carrying special education students was involved in a wreck Wednesday morning.
KISD spokesperson Terry Abbott, said the Union Grove Middle School bus was carrying four special education students. One of the students was taken to Seton hospital, but Abbott had no information on the child's condition.
The bus was rear-ended on Stagecoach road near Modoc by an SUV while on the way to Union Grove Middle School.
A student inside the SUV was also transported to the hospital.
Information about the student's injuries and condition wasn't immediately available.
