Local 7-Eleven store robbed at gunpoint again

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A Killeen 7-Eleven store that robbers have targeted before was held up at gunpoint early Friday.

Officers responded to the store at 1000 South W.S. Young Drive just after 4 a.m.

Employees said a heavy set black man who was about 6 feet tall and was wearing dark gray clothing entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt.

Officers said the store has been robbed several times.

They said they do have surveillance video of the latest holdup.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.

The clerk was not injured.
