The first was reported at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Star Mart store at 305 East Stan Schlueter Loop.

The clerk told officers that two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the store, demanded money and fled toward the west with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both robbers were black.

One was about 5-foot-3 with an average build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black bandanna that covered his face.

The other was tall, slim and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black bandanna that covered his face.

Employees told officers that a black man who was about 5-foot-4 and weighed about 190 pounds entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

The man, whose face was covered with a yellow and black bandanna, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported in either robbery.
