Police investigate report that adults assaulted 2 boys near local school

Killeen police are investigating a report of adults assaulting two juveniles Thursday near an elementary school.

According to police, officers were told that the two boys were walking near Bellaire Elementary School when they were approached by a black vehicle.

Two people inside the vehicle got out and assaulted the boys, police said.

At this time, a possible motive behind the assault has not been released.

It is also unknown if the two boys were injured in the attack.

An investigation is still ongoing.
