Electric service has been restored after an early-morning hit-and-run that downed a power pole and left dozens in the dark in Killeen.

The driver ran after a red Honda CRV struck the power poll early Monday in front of the Century Plaza Apartments at 3300 East Rancier Avenue.

A portion of Rancier was blocked off while crews worked to repair the damage.
