WACO, Texas (KWTX) Two local colleges hosted their fall 2018 commencement ceremonies Friday evening.
Texas State Technical College held its ceremony at the Waco Convention Center.
According to the college, more than 350 graduates received certificates and associate degrees.
Across the state, TSTC has more than 900 students graduating this fall.
In Belton, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor also held its commencement ceremony.
Due to football, it was moved to the Bell County Expo Center.
The university saw almost 500 students walk across the stage and receive their degrees.
UMHB said 359 students received baccalaureate degrees, 93 received master’s degrees, and 40 earned doctoral degrees.
