Deputies search for suspect who robbed local liquor store

MORGAN, Texas (KWTX) The Bosque County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who robbed a liquor store.

Cedron Creek Package Store in Morgan, which sells wine, beer & spirits, was robbed around 4:30 p.m. Friday, according to Sheriff Anthony Malott.

The suspect had his hands in his pockets and didn't display a weapon when he demanded money from a clerk, Malott says, then they left the store and walked back towards the FM 1713 bridge towards Hill County.

Malott says he made off with about $700.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and a black face mask.
