Local resident’s security camera catches would-be burglar in the act

BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) A would-be burglar was photographed in the act by a local resident’s security camera and authorities say he’s a suspect in vehicle burglaries and criminal mischief in a the High Crest subdivision off FM 439 in Bell County.

The male suspect, who was driving a White Toyota, pulled into the resident’s driveway, got out and checked the door handle of a truck, the Bell County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.

As the suspect left, his car struck the resident’s mailbox and may have damage to the rear bumper, the sheriff’s department said.

A local resident’s security camera caught a would-be burglar in the act and authorities say.
