A rural Central Texas hospital and clinic, alongside the Department of Agriculture trained several Falls County agencies how to use narcan Tuesday night.

The drug is given to people suffering an opioid overdose.

The class was co-sponsored by Falls Community Hospital and Rural Health Clinic and the Department of Agriculture.

Scaman also said each patrol unit will now carry the life-saving drug.
