Police identify man who died at local hospital after shooting

Waco police have identified the man who was shot to death last night at the intersection of Dallas Street and Carver Avenue.

Officers were sent to the scene at 10:45 p.m. Monday and found Preston Scott, 29, lying in the street.

He had been shot in the back.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
