Bonds total $13,000 for suspect in local indecent exposure case

Bonds total $13,000 for a suspect arrested after police received reports that a man was exposing himself to residents along a popular Temple hike and bike trail.

Justin Wayne Allen, 28, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on North Pea Ridge Road in Temple.

He’s charged with indecent exposure and resisting arrest, both of which are misdemeanors.

Officers responded just before 9 a.m. Monday after receiving a report that a man was exposing himself to residents on the 3.5-mile Pepper Creek Hike and Bike Trail.

They did not find the man.

Police said they’re also aware of a social media post about the man.

Officers were providing a close patrol in the area, police said in a Facebook post earlier Wednesday.
