Man found shot to death between local businesses identified

Police Wednesday identified a shooting victim who was found dead in a private driveway between two businesses in Harker Heights as Alonzo Thomas Patton, 48.
Police received a report at around 11:20 p.m. Monday that the victim was lying in the driveway in the 100 block of Central Texas Expressway.
Officers arrived about three minutes later and found Patton, who died of a gunshot wound.
An autopsy was ordered.
