Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank inside a H-E-B store Tuesday in Harker Heights and say he may have been responsible for another bank holdup more than a month ago.

The man walked into the First National Bank in the H-E-B store at 601 Indian Trail just before 11:40 a.m. Tuesday and handed the teller a note demanding money.

He escaped in a white 2016 Hyundai Elantra with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man, who’s black and in his late 20s or early 30s, is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, and has a medium build.

Police think he may also be linked to the April 5 robbery of the First National Bank on Elms Road in Killeen.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Harker Heights Police Department at (254) 953-5400 or Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
