WACO, Texas (KWTX) A man who was struck by a car at around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the CVS store at 601 North Valley Mills Dr. in Waco was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center while police fanned out to search for the car’s four occupants, all of whom fled after the accident, and found two hiding in a dumpster.

The victim suffered what may be serious injuries to his legs, but they did not appear to be life-threatening.

After the car struck the man, it hit an electrical box and then another car, which was parked outside the store.

The two men in the vehicle ran.

Officers found the two men hiding in a dumpster behind a nearby Pep Boys store.

The two women remained at large Wednesday afternoon.
