Man struck by car on I-35 dies at local hospital

A Central Texas man who was struck by a car early Saturday ;morning as he tried to cross Interstate 35 in Bruceville-Eddy has died at a local hospital, authorities said Thursday.
James Strahan, 33, of Lorena was taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple after he was struck while trying to cross the northbound lanes of the highway.
The Department of Public Safety responded to a report of the accident just before 5 a.m. Saturday.
The driver of the car that struck Strahan wasn’t injured.
