Man struck, killed while trying to cross busy local highway.

Police are investigating after a 29-year-old man was struck and killed in an early-morning accident as he tried to cross West Central Texas Expressway in Harker Heights.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Genesis at around 3:50 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block eastbound West CTE near Seton Harker Heights Medical Center as he attempted to cross an unlighted section of the highway, police said Monday.
He was dressed entirely in dark clothing.
No further details were released Monday.
