Man sues parents over porn collection

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) It's a twist on the old scenario of adults complaining that their moms tossed out their baseball card collection, depriving them of the chance of cashing in.

In this case, a man is suing his parents for tossing his pornography collection.

The man, who's 40, has taken his parents to federal court in Grand Rapids, Mich., because that's where they were when he moved in with them in 2016 after his divorce.

He moved out 10 months later.

But the man says when his parents sent his new stuff to his home in Muncie, Ind., his 12 boxes of porn never made it.

In court papers, the man's father tells his son in an email that he did him "a new favor" by getting rid of the porn.

The man estimates the porn he lost is worth $29,000 and is seeking triple damages of about $87,000.
