Masked man holds clerk at gunpoint in Central Texas gas station robbery

GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) Gatesville Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery at a CEFCO convenience store and gas station.

A masked man can be seen on surveillance footage entering the CEFCO 65 at 1620 W. Main Street in Gatesville around 2:50 a.m. on June 23, according to a GPD Facebook post Wednesday.

Police said the man came in and pointed a black, semiautomatic handgun at the clerk, demanding all the money in the register.

With money in hand, the man exited the store, got into a black two-door sports car with a getaway driver, and left the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white male wearing dark colored pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a dark blue bandanna over his face.
