Mexia: One of 2 men sought in shooting arrested

MEXIA, Texas (KWTX) One of two men sought in connection with a shooting in late June that left two injured in Mexia was in custody Friday, but the search continues for the second.

Travion Duqion Gray, 23, was in the McLennan County Jail Friday where he’s held on a Limestone County warrant charging aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was arrested in Waco.

His bond is set at $50,000.

The second suspect, Darin Dionta Gray, 30, remains at large.

Arrest warrants were issued for the two men after the stemming from the shooting at around 2 p.m. on June 27 in the 1000 block of East Hunt Street.

The two victims, whose names have not been released, were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco.

Information about their injuries and conditions wasn’t available.
