Waco: Mission Waco holds 14th annual Toy Run

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Early Sunday morning (12/1) with the help of motorcyclists from Riders of the Son and the Christian Motorcyclist Association, Mission Waco collected toys and bikes from over 20 local churches for their 14th annual Toy Run.

With the toys collected Sunday, as well as purchased throughout the year by Mission Waco, the nonprofit will be able to allow 600 families to purchase toys at about twenty percent of their retail value.

Because of this markdown anywhere from 2,500 to 3,000 underserved children will have presents under the tree this Christmas.

Mission Waco’s children's center will be transformed into a toy store on December 13th and 14th for the families that have already been given a voucher. All the vouchers to shop at the toy store have already been given out.

If you want to donate to this cause you can do so on Mission Waco’s website. They will also accept donations of toys and bikes until December 7th at Mission Waco’s main office at 1315 north 15th street.
