Baylor men earn No. 9 seed in NCAA Tournament

The Baylor Bears may be on a four-game losing streak going into the NCAA Tournament, but their prior performance has guaranteed them a spot in the big dance.

Baylor (19-13) will be a No. 9 seed in the West region and play No. 8 Syracuse (20-13) in Salt Lake City this Thursday.

The Bears and Orange have played each other twice, with Syracuse winning both meetings in 2006 and 2013.

If the Bears advance past the first round, they then could play the No. 1 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs.
