Nolanville: Officer sees teen fire out of car window; 2 arrested
Two people were arrested Monday night after shots were fired in a Nolanville neighborhood.
Nolanville police Cpl. Kristopher Bolton says he was traveling behind a Mercury Grand Marquis just before 8 p.m. when he saw a juvenile passenger stick a gun out the window and fire two shots from a semi-automatic pistol in the direction of a home in the 200 block of West Pine Street.
“The investigation revealed that the individuals in the car and the residence on west Pine were acquainted with each other and had been involved in a dispute earlier in the evening in Harker Heights,” police said in a press release Tuesday.
Seven people were initially detained after the car from which the shots were fired was pulled over.
Ultimately police arrested a 16-year-old boy on weapons charges.
They also arrested Jason Ford, 22, of Harker Heights who was named in unrelated warrants.
The weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
No one was hurt.
