Odor of marijuana from room at local hotel leads to 2 arrests

ROBINSON, Texas (KWTX) Officers who responded to a report of the odor of marijuana wafting from a second-floor room at around 10:15 p.m. Thursday at the Robinson Inn at 1167 Sun Valley Blvd. recovered marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia including syringes and marijuana pipes and a blood pressure medication that didn’t belong to either of the room’s two occupants, police said Thursday.

Officers arrested Adam Edward Green, 31 of Robinson, and Brandi Nicole Green, 29, of Robinson.

They both were held Friday in the McLennan County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $7,000 each charged with possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug, according to online records.

Adam Green was also held on unrelated Waco warrants charging forgery and theft less than $100 with a previous conviction, jail records showed.
