Officials: 1 dead, pilot injured after plane crash near Huntsville

One person is dead and another injured after a plane crash in Walker County, DPS says.
In a tweet Saturday morning, officials said the aircraft went down at 2609 Highway 19 near Huntsville.
The pilot was taken by helicopter to Memorial Herman Hospital. A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were released.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
