Early-morning fire leaves one local resident homeless

A mobile home fire early Wednesday morning in rural Bell County left one local resident homeless.

The fire was reported at around 5 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Pritchard Road and Reeds Lake Road east of Little River-Academy.

Firefighters from Rogers, Troy, Holland and Little River responded.

A large fire was burning in the center of the home when the first crews arrived.

The home was a total loss.

The resident was not home at the time.

No one was hurt.

The cause is under investigation.
