Oscar-winning actress to stop in Central Texas on book tour
Actress Reese Witherspoon will be stopping in Central Texas later this year as she promotes her new book.
Witherspoon will release “Whiskey In A Teacup” on Sept. 18 and is scheduled to stop by the Magnolia Silos in Waco a few days later.
The details and ticket sales for her stop have been released yet.
Magnolia has previously hosted the Jenna Bush Hager, Barbara Bush and Chrissy Metz when they were publicizing their books.
Witherspoon will also stop in Louisville, Ky., Washington D.C., and New York City, just to name a few cities.
Waco is the smallest city on the book tour, highlighting the power and allure Magnolia offers for these type of events.
Witherspoon won the Academy Award in for best actress in 2006 for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line.”
