One man is dead after he crashed his vehicle early Wednesday morning near Mullin, climbed up a roadside embankment and was struck by a second vehicle.
A Department of Public Safety communications officer said the victim was driving on U.S. Highway 84 when he lost control of his vehicle, which left the roadway and rolled down a 30-foot embankment between Mullin and Goldthwaite.
The driver was able to crawl out of his vehicle and climb up the embankment, back onto the roadway.
A driver of a second vehicle on the highway was unable to see the victim and struck him.
The victim has not yet been identified.
The second driver was not injured.
