Police Wednesday released a photo of a suspect in the knifepoint robbery of a Killeen travel center.

The robbery was reported at around 1:15 a.m. on April 17 at the Splawn Ranch Travel Center at 10640 South Fort Hood St.

Employees told officers a man entered the store, displayed a knife, demanded money and then escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man for whom police are looking is either white of Hispanic, about 5-foot-9, and weighs about 160 pounds.

He was wearing a beanie, a black jacket, black pants and gray shoes.

He escaped in a small light colored four-door SUV that has a sunroof, a luggage rack and a spare tire mounted on the back.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
