A Killeen woman was shocked to discover that a pint-size pair of porch pirates stole a package she was expecting from a subscription makeup service.

Video from her Ring doorbell camera shows the two little girls swiping the package, which contained about $300 worth of products.

The older of the two little looters used the home’s security yard sign in a futile attempt to cover up the camera.

"Seeing how young they were, especially the little one being only 4 or 5, that was really concerning to me,” Svenja Jefferson said.

“But the extra thought that was put into this really makes me wonder if someone put them up to this,” she said.

“If a 4-year-old is out there being supervised by maybe a 10-year-old, it is not safe and brings up the question, ‘where are the parents in this case?’” Jefferson said.

Jefferson filed a police report and posted the video on social video, where it’s been viewed more than 35,000 times.

In a strange twist, Jefferson got the purloined products back.

They turned up inside another package that was returned after it was stolen from the porch of one of her neighbors, perhaps by the same two thieves.

She says although she’s happy to get her items back, she would have preferred to have gotten them in person, along with an apology.

She says she hopes someone has at least learned a valuable lesson from what happened.

“Hopefully it was just innocent child’s play,” she says.
