Police: Texas man on LSD brutally attacks sons, 3 and 7

EL PASO, Texas A father is accused of brutally attacking his sons, sending both to the hospital, after consuming LSD, police said.

Zakary Frampton, 26, is charged with two counts of Injury to Child.

Police responded to a home shortly before midnight on November 22, 2019 and found a 3-year-old boy with injuries to his head and a 7-year-old boy with "substantial injuries to his face and body."

An investigation allegedly revealed Frampton attacked the boys after he consumed LSD with two other people inside the home.

Frampton allegedly punched the 7-year-old boy in the face repeatedly before throwing the boy against a kitchen island, police said.

The father is further accused of striking the 3-year-old boy before throwing the boy from one room to another.

Police said both children required hospital treatment. The 7-year-old boy remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

Frampton was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $550,000 bond.
