Victim of deadly shooting in local neighborhood identified

Police continue to look for leads in a shooting early Saturday morning in a Killeen residential neighborhood that left a 33-year-old man dead.
Police identified the victim Monday as Cleveland Jermaine Lewis of Killeen.
Officers responded at around 2 a.m. Saturday to a 911 report of gunfire in the 4500 block of Alan Kent Drive and when they arrived they found Lewis with a gunshot wound.
He was in critical condition when he was taken to Carl R. Darnell Army Medical Center where he later died.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Bell County Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
