HOUSTON (KWTX) An alleged serial rapist described by Houston Police as being "very, very dangerous" was captured thanks to an anonymous tip, authorities said.
Police identified the man as Brandon Jay Carter, 28, who allegedly stalks his victims before attacking them in their homes.
Carter was arrested at an apartment in Spring by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.
Police said Carter is facing charges in connection to three cases.
The most recent case was on January 8, 2020. Police said Carter ambushed a woman outside an apartment, held her at gunpoint and then raped her.
Carter is charged with aggravated sexual assault and may be responsible for multiple additional cases, police said.
