Police investigate armed robbery at Wendy's drive-thru window

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen police were investigating an early-morning armed robbery at a Wendy's drive-thru window Thursday.

At 12:30 a.m. Thursday officers were dispatched to the Wendy's at the 1200 block of South Fort Hood Street for a robbery in progress.

Police said two men walked up to the drive-thru window and displayed a handgun to the worker inside.

When the Wendy's employee got away from the window, police said the suspects ran north on Fort Hood Street.

They did not get away with any money.

No one was injured.
